He can. The dust cover on an AR like rifle (I belive that's a HK 417 tho) opens automaticly after the first shot.

Even though it's a year later, yeah you are right. Never realized that the dust cover opens on first shot, from what I remember there is a little nub that pushed it open as the bolt travels backwards.
