MemberLOOK AT THIS PIC.
Amazing. Weaver does more with 20 lines that most other artists do with 20 hours.
It's gesture drawing as its best. It's simple and easy and perfect. This picture cannot be better than it is right here. Seriously. It's cartoony and stylized but as it's drawn, it perfect.
Weaver is skyrocketing to being my favorite artist. Plenty of others color better, ink better, use photoshop better, contain my more preferred pairings, etc. but VERY few pictures actually make me react as much as weaver's do. The guy has phenomenal control and talent over what he wants to portray, holy shit.

MemberMakes me really question what he could do if he spent 40 hours on a drawing. Or would he start with something like this and then stare at it for the remaining time not knowing what to do next...

BlockedSomehow I get the feeling that Weaver has YEARS of experience behind him, so he knows what he wants to draw, and can draw it in minutes, with every nuance and expression perfect in one go.
If he tried to take hours for a perfect drawing, it probably wouldn't work.
Weaver has to be up with the likes of Charles Schultz, Johnny Hart and Gary Larson.
Love the simplicity of this drawing, now I know what Rabbit ears are for!!
