  • Yes, it's an upcoming movie about a wolf princess thrown into an uncomfortable circumstance with a pack "commoner."

A bit too similar to the plot of "Antz" if you ask me.

True, and it probably won't have the same sense of humor either.

    Still, Wolves > Insects.

  • Watch before commenting on movie quality. It's a new studio, so there really isn't much backlog to comment on theoretical quality.

  • ^You don't need sex to sell a movie about talking animals to the Furry fandom.

It's not really being advertised anywhere yet. I just happened to stumble across the trailer for it while watching a trailer for Rio(New CGI film from the Ice Age creators) on Youtube.

I was expecting some stupid, poorly animated Christian cartoon. Instead I'm greeted by Wolf that's voiced by the Dell guy.

Eh, to each his own. Frankly, I don't care for sex in movies. Same goes for dirty humor.

Same here. I loved 'em when I was a kid. Now, watching sex in a room full of other people is kinda creepy.

  • Both hilarious and a little sad that Lionsgate has apparently chosen to copy every move out of the Dreamworks playbook. The typography matches, the bland premise matches...Not sure if there will be painful, pointless out of place pop culture references, but I wouldn't be surprised. Is Disney/Pixar really the only one who can figure out how to make animated films, after all this time? Is it really that hard?

  • This trailer makes me face-palm so hard. The horrible puns, the sexual references in a "Kids Movies". I'm actually surprised rule 34 hasn't grasped this yet.

Dead Space Downfall. Animated horror awesomeness. I also really liked 9 and Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within. Sadly, animated movies are rarely ever written for people over the age of about 16.

WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE IN 3D? WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE IN 3D? THEY ARE EVEN DOING A JACKASS 3D! REALLY?! DO WE REALLY NEED A JACKASS 3D? They charge more. I have seen something like 4 movies in 3D thus far. One of those movies had 3D that wasn't flat. Only one of those flicks had 3D that made you notice that it was supposed to be in 3D, and that was Avatar. Ugh. You will probably notice the upcoming Resident Evil movie in 3D because they are exploiting the shit out of it.

The furry community will probably latch onto this film and then demand porn of the character pictured in this or the male lead in this flick (Somehow that seems more likely :P ) because it has to ruin EVERYTHING with porn, which is really fucking sad, if you think about it. To be honest, this movie looks incredibly derivative and cliche. It looks boring to me.

Now that I have said that.....BRING ON SCOTT PILGRIM

3D because the power of technology and movie making has greatly increased as apposed to fifteen or twenty years ago. The 3D in the movies has changed also, not as in the images popping out of the screen at you but in the way that there is a noticeable fore-ground, middle-ground, and back-ground that the character, vehicle, or other object is highlighted to make you concentrate on that object pulling your eye away and making you unintentionally focus on that object shot with multiple cameras shooting multiple views giving off a three - dementional effect to the highlighted object. Just as how it is if you looked threw a window in real life.

When the 3D effect doesn't work, as seems to be the case, it is a pointless waste of money *cough*aliceinwonderlandandclashofthetitans*cough*

I'll get into 3D movies once they can make them assessable to those who already wear a pair of glasses, thank you very much.

When a movie is in 3D it is subtle but not to the point that you cant notice it, but of course not all 3D movies are not like that. The point of the 3D is it is supposed to look like your actually there, that you can notice the depth and the change distance between objects like your naturally used to seeing objects in real life thus the 3D effect does work in most cases.

As for Alice In Wonderland or Clash of the Titans, I cant say anything sense I haven't seen them nor have I ever wanted to see them.

The only difference between every 3D movie I have seen except for Avatar and a standard movie is that, when you take your glasses off, it becomes blurry. That is it. A regular movie does not do this. As such, it is a complete waste of money.

The reason the film is blurry is that there is multiple views shot of the scene, its like looking at one of those holographic cards when you hold it in the middle where the pictures merge, when you take the glasses off the picture separates and when you put them back on it redirects the light and merges the images on the screen together in your eyes.

If this is literally true, you probably have stereo blindness, or perhaps just a mild form of it.

Or you might just be near-sighted or something - the blurring from near-sightedness would cause you to lose fine texture. I can imagine that some animated 3D movies wouldn't have enough texture left for your visual system to solve depth - but that wouldn't happen with a realistic texture distribution like with Avatar.

Uh... I dunno what kind of glasses you have, but I can wear both sets of glasses simultaneously just fine.... I'm pretty sure they're designed that way.

  • I've never liked movies in 3D, the problem I don't like about them, is that when they do the 3D scenes, everything gets popped out, and it's quite distraction to the main scene area.

But, good thing though they show 3D movies in 2D as well.

  • Being a father myself, there's not really getting out of your daughter begging you to take her to this type of movie unless you want to hear her whine or cry for three weeks straight. So I took her to it, fell asleep (I can't stay awake in the theater for one reason or another), and woke up to take a piss right when the goose or duck said that Kate and Humphrey were in Idaho to "re-populate," shit myself laughing at the expression on Hump's face, and had a fuckton (equal to winning one-thousand internetz) of strangers stare at me. I went to the bathroom and some dude came in while I was washing my hands and he said," You thought the same thing I did, didn't you?" I went," What?" And he said," Those shitheads handed this movie over to the furries on a silver platter." And I said," And for that... I thank them!!"
