There's a bit of personal experience here, as a couple years ago I needed my dog Dot (AKA one of my best friends in the world) to go outside so workmen could come in the house, but the situation had Dot completely worked up and anxious and refusing to leave the house for anything. I made the bonehead decision to pick her up and carry her outside, naively trusting that my dog would continue to act like my dog while being carried out with her head right next to mine. I was wrong, and Dot switched into panic mode and went full Cuisinart on the left half of my face.
... and that's how I died and my ghost was tasked to post Zootopia fan comics to Furaffinity.
