There's a fine line between being terrorists and stooping to their level. As if revenge will make things better, but it only fuels to the anger of both sides.
As one Texas Republican Senator said, "I think we should ask why they did it, instead of seeking revenge, get to understand them and the reason they did it." Or something along those lines.
But the matter of the fact is, it has to do with the tensions in the Middle East, where the United States is meddling, and has meddled long before 9/11 happened. There's a reason why the 1993 bombing happened, and a reason why the follow up of 1995 also happened. Look up the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996. When the 1993 bombing happened, there weren't enough casualties to pass it into Congress, until 2 years later when the 1995 OK Bombing happened, over 168 dead and several more injured. What's funny, it's that the '95 bombing wasn't caused by terrorists, but rather some American milita sympathizers. Smells like another Harvey Lee Oswald scenario here.
Nevertheless, yes. Guantanamo bay is the worst place you could land in. If you forgot what happened in Iraq, and how the military treated their prisoners, well... I can only hope you have some morals rather than not.
