    I'm...not sure I follow you on the first part. Chiptunes are songs made using obsolete sound chips from the 80s and 90s, like this:(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZBo4vLguOA&feature=related). Dragonforce uses, like, actual instruments. As for the rest: clearly Dragonforce was always a massive tongue-in-cheek, over-the-top batch of silliness. That's what makes it so great. If you think it's an "Insult to power metal," you're missing the point.

    actualy, no they didn't use real instruments, not preicesly. what was done was herman was recorded doing his usual crappy random playing (which he admited he played random notes fyi) which where then speed up several times and touched up. these chunks were then mix and matched and vuala, you got an album.

    I was clicking the remote found dragon force and right when it got to the part where Herman Lee throw's his guitar in the air and does the Whammy bar trick about 20 seconds into song I came =D and it was the most epically times Cum of my life. I thank you much good sir.
