Gouache Fox

Ever since I bought that Gouache a while back I've been fiddling with it trying to figure out how it ticks. Well FA went down recently giving me some time to play around with it some more, and after a few tests went fairly well I decided to give a full painting a shot. Like all my tests I wanted something very simple to work with, so I whipped up a quick side view of a fox so I could focus more on the painting than on figuring out anatomy.

Smooth shading is very tricky in Gouache, but I managed to wrestle it into the state you see here despite that. Definitely not at all confident with the medium yet, and I haven't really pinned down a 'method' yet, mostly just figuring it out as I go. But a successful test I think! Do let me know your thoughts.
