You are right about that, The directors certainly like to tease said fanbase hell even Jason Bateman(Voice actor of Nick Wilde for those whom don't know) is in on the teasing. Though it would be interesting to see how Nick and Judy's relationship plays out if a Sequel comes around for Zootopia.
