My guess is that they are scars from whip-lashes. She may have done something in the past to earn some lashes from a whip as punishment. Again, that's just a guess. I don't know for sure.

i'd imagine it's probably self inflicted if it is whip scarring. i think some ye olde priests used to have themselves lashed n such to prove their devotion to their god(s).

Either of those sound good but my idea is that she's a slave that got whipped, and she worked her way up the ranks proving that she's more then a replaceable liability. Or something like that Idk what I'm talking about...
