News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    Eyup, he got a warning from tumblr about the overwatch porn..some kind of debacle happened about people finding out about overwatch though porn of it(not entirely sure) and blizzard got pissy about it,(Weird not about WoW stuff huh? At least I think this is the reason why..) dropped copyright infringments on may tumblr artists..and unfortunately, Ellowas was one of them. ><

    It all happened after Kotaku post about it - again , becouse long time ago there was the same problem with other 3d pron that Kotaku wrote about. Didn't really write negatively but it caught alot of attention.

    e6 actually doesn't supposed to have any limits any more, it's usually other restrictions that may make it unable to upload, e.g. slow upload making it time out. In any way...

    My point was that there's no point of this large gifs. The WebM in parent post is 1.6 MB and will always be higher quality, so halving the frame rate or lowering resolutions wouldn't be an issue. Over 30 MB takes a while to load even on bit faster connection and for example it'll drain mobile data caps real fast. And it's also still fucking huge filesize for something like this.

    I do still thank you for making bit higher quality fully looped gif, I'm still not a fan of that particular users gif conversions. And because that version was uploaded first, it was technically higher quality so I wasn't able to upload lower resolution myself nor artists own version which they seem to post on rul34 themselves, weighting 4 MB: http://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/1844477
