The seeds/tree thing are just an over-arcing world device to explain more about this world in future comics. The overall storyline is not that complex and it's not about trees, lol.

But I already know no matter what I do make it about, some people won't be happy. People already want her to keep him, her to get pregnant, me to continue them two, etc. and I'm gonna have to let them all down for now, haha. Hoo boy.

Just enjoy the show for now, it's just a simple fuck story.

I for one would absolutely love if this turned into a complex overarching story, the more complex the better. So long as it remained internally consistent. =) <3
