April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

Bane Of Sanity
MemberIntersex Male=Cuntboy, right?
S0BS
MemberYep!
Bane Of Sanity
MemberI just wanna know who think the Scraggy is female. Sure, TWYS is a thing, but you could also check the artist's gallery to see what's the more commonly done gender. That's how I knew it was a cuntboy.
S0BS
MemberMWAH kisses for you for being a smart noodle :'3c I don't see why you have down votes. Oh well though.
I already tagged the appropriate gender (or sex, in this case I suppose) but I'll edit it when female gets tagged. The artist is the uploader and therefore probably knows what they're doing (me.I know what I'm doing lol)
Ratte
Former StaffQuit being weird.
Keep the female tag. There is no reason to tag this a cuntboy.
S0BS
MemberOr, you know, I'm tagging it as such because I'm the one who drew it and I drew it with the intentions of it being a cutnboy :B
Ratte
Former StaffI don't care. That isn't how our tagging system works.
Change it back from female and you'll get a record.
S0BS
MemberOkay, fair enough, I won't re-tag it, but now I'm just simply confused.
How come these types of debates don't come up on other cboy images, when following TWYS they could be tagged as a flat chested female?
Siral Exan
PrivilegedThey do happen. Just not as often as it used to. Body type standards are as follows: larger body parts, muscle tone, and "rough" body details (scars, unkept hair, etc.) are all easy ways to tell them as male. Females are quite the reverse: smaller/lithe body parts, smoother/curved skin, kept hair, makeup, etc. I emphasize that this is the easiest way to find out, not the complete list.
For cuntboys, they need to have a male build, but with a vagina. For dickgirls, the opposite, they need a female build, but a penis and/or balls. For herms, a female's body with both pairs of genitals, and for maleherms, the reverse.
But Pokemon are either sexually dimorphic (possessing traits that only 1 gender has, while the other does not or has another), and that's ignored; be humanoid but still only look like one entity altogether (the males and females look the same) or look feral, and lack the defining traits because they not anthros or humanoids. This is why they're female: you cannot distinguish body traits, and they only possess a pussy for sexual purposes. Mind you, this happens to the humanoid ones too: machamp can be argued Cuntboy instead of female, because of the above list.
Your character would of been ambiguous_gender had it not have the pussy. That is the only reason why it's tagged female.
S0BS
MemberSee, thank you for an actual explanation for it. It helps me with future tagging as well.
I knew I tagged the Banette correctly as "ambiguous_gender" due to not seeing any genitals, but I guess it does make sense for the Scraggy to be tagged as female since they don't have any qualifying factors as females or males.
The Machamp example also helps explain it so thank you again.
MisterImp
MemberAt the very least, this is a lot more helpful and informative than the hostility of Mr. Ratte.
Danjen
MemberSo artists have no say on how their works are tagged? No wonder people go DNP
