Elites don't have claws on their hands and their feet are hoofed. Also, they typically have very narrow waists, less prominent buttocks, and less human eyes.

Little behind on your all encompassing Halo lore me thinks.

Halo Wars: They had claws, Ripa had human like eyes

Feet: these have changed so much threw out the series and their not actually confirmed to be hoofs as far as I know

Waist: Double pectoral muscles and larger thighs would give this effect

Note: For a race that is supposed to have powerful legs their ass should be bigger as the gluts help to propel you around

About their anatomy...i generally just think that the Elites in halo wars where from a colder part of Sangheilios, which is why they had claws and looked more chunky...

Have to say though, despite the Sangheili's size, they have the must perky little asses in Reach XD

Anyway, back to the picture...i'm afraid...Sir.Sangheili, i will be taking full advantage of you.

However afterwards you can "come" and play with me and my drake friend over here as much as you please :3
