Description

Meet the newest Zootopia ship: Wildemeyer.

Backstory behind the pic:

Following the story "Old Fashioned Disaster" written by uzrfrndly & sprinkah, wherein Judy puts off dating Nick because she's afraid of being hurt by him in bed but goes out and winds up sleeping with a random rabbit in a drunken stupor which Nick finds out and leaves her.

Picking up after the end of that story, Nick puts in a request for a new partner, and is assigned to Fangmyer, who's a tigress. She sees Nick going into a downward spiral and tries to help him. Eventually that winds up with them becoming incredibly close and winding up together, with her promising to protect the (comparatively) small fox that's curled up sleeping on top of her.

A lot of thought goes into trying to find a silver lining in a fundamentally broken story, but that's what fan communities are for I suppose.

A little dude being paired with a big, tall girl is pretty cute, tho.

    The official Zootopia Crime Cases game gives the name of Fangmeyer to the tiger cop.

    Add to that ambiguity on whether the tiger cop in the movie was female, and you got a tigress that got shipped with the fox.
