ARA - Iris

Patreon's pinup for August, my anthroid feline ARA.

Probably the most complicated, detailed, and largest, picture I've ever done. Three main versions, I'll upload them all, just gimme a few. But I'm pretty happy with the goals I wanted to work out on this picture; the style, cybernetics, background radial design, etc. I did the base body first, then the cybernetic under-structure, which was time-consuming, but a lot of fun. This isn't a canon/background focused image, but just something I thought would be cool in concept, inspired by a neat Zenyatta fanart by "ChasingArtwork" on DA, and the cybernetics inspired by Tokyo2022, Strype, Akira and a few others.

    You haven't seen anything. I saw a bit of this being done on stream and FK has drawn like 5 layers of inner workings. He even did research to find out what kind of joints and stuff to use. The attention to detail is astounding. I don't know if those will be uploaded, they probably will be eventually.

    Well of course her vital components will be insulated against the negative effects of electromagnetism. It will merely be a means to reassemble her basic form after being damaged or if her parts are scattered over a wide area. Basically the same way Victor Mancha can generate magnetism and electricity and not suffer from it's effects
