Species: fairy
A fairy (also fay, fae, fair folk; from faery, faerie, "realm of the fays") is a type of mythical being or legendary creature in European folklore, a form of spirit, often described as metaphysical, supernatural, or preternatural. Someone being "away with the fairies" means that they're distracted, possibly by a hallucination.
While often presented as finger-sized girls with insect wings (ie, pixies), fairys also include elves, leprechauns, brownies (not to be confused with the desnse, chocolate cake-like pastry of the same name), and, according to the story "Die Grobman," the Slender Man.
There were said to be two "courts" of fairies; the Seelie Fey, who were kindly (in their own fashion), and the Unseelie Fey, who were malicious. However, both kinds were extremely alien in psychology, and had some odd ideas about what was kind and what was cruel.
The erotic webcomic "Fairies vs Tentacles" utilizes a unique type of fairy that is a female-personality hermaphrodite with elemental magic and a tail that acts as a penis without looking like one.
