March 9 is Zangoose Day, due to 3/9 (san-gu) sounding similar to the name of the Pokémon Zangoose. Participants are encouraged to make content related to Zangoose, but anthropomorphic characters as well as pornography are discouraged (although neither can be prevented, and are often drawn anyway). For these, Reverse Zangoose Day was created. Zangoose Day was established in 2009 by yamik64.
