Primarina (Japanese: アシレーヌ Ashirene) is a dual-type Water and Fairy Pokémon from Gen VII.

Primarina is a marine Pokémon, with a mainly white body and a long fish tail. It has a long snout with a round, pink nose, large blue eyes with long white lashes, and long, light-blue hair that floats in the air, styled into a ponytail with two pearl rings.
This ponytail can be undone when Primarina uses certain attacks. On its forehead, this Pokémon has a tiara consisting of a line of pearls with a pink starfish at each end, and a light-blue veil that rises over its hair.

All along its body, it has fins that resemble the veil it wears on its head... It has long front fins with three fingers. Its fish tail is bright blue with small pink fins and dots around the hips. The fin at the end of its tail is white, and enables this Pokémon to stand upright.

Primarina is inspired by a sea lion, but shares similarities with mermaids, selkies and sirens.
It has evolved from Brionne, and it sings beautifully.

This final evolution of Popplio was leaked early in development, and may have some other (false) aliases associated with that, like Entermaid.
