Originally, a term that refers primarily to the recording of real or implied torture, murder, and occassionally, raping a kidnapped victim on film.
Here, it refers to deriving sexual pleasure out of extreme pain, suffering, torture, rape, and murder. This goes far beyond the safe realm of BDSM and may include some forms of gore (disembowelment, decapitation, grotesque deaths, etc.), and often a sexual climax which peaks just before the moment of death.
Note: This tag is only applied when there are one or more characters visibly having sexual pleasure in an extremely deadly situation. Do not tag this simply because the post contains gore and/or death.
