ring
A ring is a circular band, typically made out of some form of metal, or other rigid material and may be adorned with precious stones or jewels. There are many types of rings, with the most common being a form of jewelry. Rings are particularly useful as attachment points, frequently seen as part of harnesses. Rings may also be decorative, such as being woven into clothing, particularly harem outfits or other exotic clothing. Rings may have religious, spiritual, or otherwise symbolic purposes, or have purposes that are unclear whether the ring counts as jewelry, or serves a decorative or functional purpose such as the rings from the Sonic the Hedgehog games.
Jewelry only counts as a "ring" if it is form-fitting. Loose jewelry such as bangles or most types of bracelets do not count as jewelry rings, but may count towards this tag.
