tag group:background
[Back: tag group:index]
Every image has a background. "Background" should never be used as a tag. There is no such thing as not having a background. Even the lack of background warrants a tag.
Background Types/Style
- simple_background
- monotone_background
- gradient_background
- textured_background - Images with a nongeometric textured pattern as the background.
- pattern_background
- abstract_background

Colors of Flat-color/ Simple Backgrounds
Images with a "flat" color background. The background may be one color, many variations of the same color, or a few colors... the 'important part' is that they do not suggest any sort of location outside of, perhaps 'the floor'.
- simple_background
- black_background
- blue_background
- brown_background
- grey_background
- green_background
- orange_background
- pink_background
- purple_background
- red_background
- white_background
- yellow_background
- teal_background
- rainbow_background - Made up of multiple colors
- transparent_background - For images with an alpha_channel background
Detailed Backgrounds
- detailed_background - Images with a good amount of detail in the surrounding area, enough that the character is firmly established as existing in a place with a world around them. Most pictures with an illustrated background will fall in this category.
- amazing_background - For images where the background is almost as interesting to look at as the character. Vivid, detailed, images where the artist clearly spent as much time, if not far more working on the background than the characters in the image. Basically, the cream of the crop. Use with discretion.
- blurred_background
Theme of detailed backgrounds
Those tags should be used when the background contains only this in the background.
- nature_background
- sky_background - only having the sky behind
- water_background - only having water behind
- city_background
- inside - more general than buildings. Include things like cave.
- interior_background - inside a building.
- inside_vehicle - the scene is taking place inside a vehicle.
- internal - we see inside of a body. It can happen that a scene has the internal view as background.
- unseen_pred - the whole image is taking place only inside a body (see vore).
Also of note:
- invalid_background - If this tag is on an image, the image was tagged with a tag that was previously determined to be unsuitable, and should have the tag removed and replaced with a more suitable background one.
