When a character has one or both of their hands gripping someone else's hips (area just above the thighs on either side of the body and may include part of the thigh). Can be used in both sexual and non-sexual situations.

For a character gripping their own hip, use holding hips instead.

Not to be confused with

• waist_grab - The area just above the hips on either side of the stomach / abdomen.
• mating_grip - When the grab is performed by feral while mounting.
