patagium
The skinny membrane that bats, flying squirrels, pterosaurs and some other animals use to glide or fly.
Even without proper wings, some animals may still exhibit a patagium, as is the case with flying lizards and flying squirrels. Likewise, most bats have their patagium reach all the way down to their legs as well as between them, which is often missing on anthro characters. Use this tag in both of these cases.
