Capricorn, the Seagoat, is the 10th (or 11th, if you count Ophiuchus) sign of the Western Zodiac. Capricorn is based upon the symbols of Enki, the ancient Sumerian god of wisdom and water, craft, and creation. His symbols were the goat – representing ambition, curiosity, and a stubborn, intelligent way of thriving, even in inhospitable places. The fish, on the other hand, represented passion, intuition, and spirituality. Eventually, the two were blended. The seagoat would later be associated with either the Greek god Pan, who upon trying to jump into the Nile while fleeing the monster Typhon, turned into a half-goat, half-fish, or the goat Amalthea who nursed the infant Zeus when his mother Rhea hid him from his father Cronos.
This tag should be used for things directly concerning the sign Capricorn. Typically, this will be some sort of personification: A creature both fish and goat, resembling a merfolk in many respects. While an earth sign, water will likely play a prominent role in any images, though this isn't a requirement at all.
The symbol of Capricorn resembles an N with a loop at the end. ♑ Images containing the astrological symbol of Capricorn should be tagged Capricorn_(symbol).
