caduceus
A staff carried by Hermes, Greek god of messengers, consisting of a rod entwined by two serpents, sometimes surmounted by wings. Though initially a symbol for commerce and trade, today it is often confused with the Rod of Asclepius (⚕), which depicts only a single serpent, and is usually used as a symbol for medicine and healthcare.
