Species: harpatrice
Harpatrice is a term coined by FibS to refer to cockatrice-like harpies in his fictional world of Elae Meltaea.
Unlike most harpies, harpatrice do not fly. They are otherwise distinguished by their lizard-like wings and tails as opposed to avian, their green plumage and dark skin, and their extraordinarily large breasts, especially by harpy standards.
Their talons and the ends of their tails are able to petrify on touch. Harpatrice carry this immunity to their young through the mother's milk.
