The Astra Militarum (Also known as the "Imperial Guard") are a military organization within the fictional universe of warhammer 40000, and the main ground forces of the Imperium Of Man.

The Imperial Guard can vastly differ in appearance. However, guardsmen are mostly portrayed as contemporary soldiers with olive green uniforms, at least one Aquila (two headed eagle symbol) which is usually located on the front of their helmet, metal flak armor, and their iconic lasguns.

Aside from infantry, the Imperial Guard is known to field a large variety of combat vehicles, mostly comprising of armored transports and combat tanks. Their vehicles, just like their infantry, tend to have an olive green/steel grey color palette along with a semi contemporary visual design.
