pup mask

A pup mask or pup hood is a type of mask that is frequently seen used in the puppyplay community. They are meant to look like the face of a dog, and are worn generally while roleplaying. Pup masks are commonly (but not exclusively) made out of leather.

These are not to be confused with a muzzle_(object), which is an item worn around an animal's snout to prevent noise and is similarly associated with petplay, yet typically does not cover the entire face.

"Dog-like" features included on a pup mask include fake ears, a nose, and even a tongue, though these are not required, especially as these features may be redundant when an anthro who is already canine is wearing one.
