xbox controller

A broad tag for any video game controller manufactured by Microsoft for their Xbox brand of consoles as well as Windows PCs, including the original Xbox controllers (especially the first model, also known as "The Duke"), the Xbox 360 controller, the Xbox Wireless Controller (this tag includes the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller and the later revisions of the standard controller released for the Xbox One S and X models and the Xbox Series X/S), and the Kinect motion sensor peripherals for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Xbox controllers can be identified by their multicolored A, B, X, and Y face buttons, asymmetrically placed analog sticks (an upper-left stick and a lower-right one), a D-pad underneath the left stick, and an Xbox logo at or near the middle, which is the "Guide" button on Xbox 360 and later controllers (this also includes Hyperkin's officially licensed recreation of "The Duke" for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PCs, with the faceplate now being a Guide button with an OLED screen that features the original Xbox's boot sequence).
