Species: chinese crested dog
The Chinese crested dog is a hairless breed of dog. Like most hairless dog breeds, the Chinese crested comes in two varieties, with and without fur, which are born in the same litter: the Powderpuff and the Hairless.
Many of a Crested's teeth are pointed, much like their canines, in a phenomenon called a "primitive mouth". The Hairless variety can be prone to poor dentition, though most Powderpuffs have few dental problems, if any.
Healthy Cresteds live for 12-14 years on average, though many individuals have been known to live much longer.
