Species: fox spirit

The fox spirit (狐狸精) or nine-tailed fox (九尾狐) is a mythical fox entity originating from Chinese mythology and later seen commonly in multiple forms within East Asian mythology. In East Asian folklore, they are depicted as spirit possessed fox-like creatures, capable of utilizing magical powers. These fox creatures are depicted as mischievous tricksters, often having abilities such as the ability to disguise themselves.

Note that, for a post to be appropriately tagged with this tag (if not already tagged via other implications), the post must explicitly depict a mythical, eastern asian, and/or magical fox spirit being. This is NOT to be used on posts simply involving normal foxes and/or foxes that happen to have multiple tails; fox and/or fox multi_tail are more appropriate.
