reformation

This refers to a character dying, and then "reforming" or "respawning". This especially applies to character brought back to life after suffering a death that involves grievously injury or completely destroys their body.

The most literal example of reformation would be a character melting or being disintegrated, and then physically reforming from their remains. However, in most cases, the previously dead character simply poofs back into existence.

Reformation and Vore

Reformation is especially common in vore content, while prey characters in fatal vore typically reappear, alive and undigested, without explanation between different images or comics, a vore scenario with reformation adds an explanation for this, and is often used for willing prey in fatal vore contexts - the willing prey character may be entirely digested but knows they will respawn unharmed.

Even if the prey reforming is simply mentioned in dialogue, rather than explicitly shown, this tag should be added.
