A creature from the Alien franchise. The face hugger is a small crab-like alien with a long tail. It attaches itself to prey's face to implant a Xenomorph embryo, then falls off and dies.

Although the face hugger is technically the male of the species, it should not be tagged male as no male structures are present on its body.
