"Leather Daddy" is a LGBTQ+ slang term for a appearance/fashion aesthetic born from the leather subculture in the late 1940's.
All Leather Daddies are male, or at least andromorph. Most of them are usually (but not always) gay and sexually dominant.
They are depicted as being relatively older, larger, more muscular or conversely fatter, hairer, and/or more well endowed than most or at the very least the submissive character in the post.
As their name suggests, Leather Daddies are always seen wearing copious and conspicuous amounts of leather, such as leather clothing like: a leather jacket or a leather vest, leather gloves, a leather underwear, leather boots and less represented with a leather mask like a gimp hood.
They also use a lot of bondage gear used in BDSM, like a harness (often made of leather), riding crops and cat o' nine tails are whips used for impact play.
They also have a lot of accessories and jewelries such as nipple piercings.
Very often seen smoking cigars, they often drink beer too.
Finally, all Leather Daddies embody the archetype of virility, playing on the icon of masculinity and paternal authority, like big or huge muscles, the beard, or playing on the Daddy Kink by calling themselves "Daddy" or even calling their partner as their son (with "Good boy" or "Sonny" to further play on father/son power dynamics).
Biker clothing also falls into this category, with biker caps or just motorcycles also associated with this culture.
