A character directly or indirectly stating through dialogue or symbols that they are homosexual, that they wish to engage in homosexual activity, or are explicitly described as homosexual.

This is regardless of whether they are actually engaging in homosexual activities, and often is applied to situations where a character states their or their partner's homosexuality in contrast to the supposedly homosexual character sexually interacting with a member of the opposite sex.
