Rumbling Stomach describes various noises caused by muscular contractions in the stomach and intestines. A rumbling stomach may indicate hunger, digestion, or indicate a character suffering indigestion, nausea, or is about to burp, fart, or urgently needs to defecate. These abdominal sounds can be often seen in stuffing and inflation, and very frequently are a part of vore content.

Tagging Notes

This tag should be used whether the rumbling stomach is represented by visual effects, written onomatopoeia, or audible sound effects in an animation.

• Onomatopoeia for a rumbling stomach includes "growl" "grrr" "grumble" "glorp" or even just "rumble"
• These onomatopoeia are often altered for effect, to imply a difference in sound length and volume (e.g. "grrrrRRUMBllle")

• A rumbling stomach may be represented by iconography such as bubbles, squeans, emanata, or wiggling motion lines around the character's abdomen/belly
• These are often paired with onomatopoeia or sound effects, but may be seen alone

• Another way a rumbling stomach can be show visually is through a common cartoon trope that has the surface of the belly rippling as the stomach growls (see example 2 above).

Digestion Noises

• digestion noises specifically applies to sound effects/onomatopoeia, which are explicitly intended to represent digestion
• digestion noises can be used for any organ, which applies to exotic forms of vore (e.g. digestion noises from the balls in cock vore)

Sloshing Belly

• sloshing belly specifically applies to sound effects that indicate liquid moving around in the belly (regardless of the organ full of fluids)
