When a full-length shirt is tied off, almost always in a way that exposes the wearer's midriff.

Exposure varies on how the shirt is tied, and the type of shirt worn; a shirt tied high in the middle of the chest (between the breasts), will show under boob, while a shirt tied very high on the wearer's chest, or a button-up shirt tied below the breasts will expose them entirely. Tied shirts are commonly seen in "country girl/farm girl" style outfits, where they're almost always plaid button-up shirts, usually paired with daisy dukes, sometimes with a sun hat or cowboy hat. Tied t-shirts are often paired with bikini bottoms or shorts.
