Species: lamia

post #399342 post #1694289 post #595347 post #4530688

An apode, split form creature with the bottom half of a snake. The top half, while traditionally humanoid, can be any anthro non-snake species (an all-snake lamia would just be a naga, as it would not be split-form).

Note that both "naga" and "lamia" have served to designate a wide variety of somewhat snake-like creatures in various fantasy universes, regardless of the etymology. While the definition given to those two words for tagging purposes is essentually arbitrary, care should be taken to avoid tagging as lamia fantasy species that do not match the above definition, even though they may be called that in-universe.
