prey pov

Prey POV describes when the viewer is given a first person view in a vore or imminent vore scenario, from the perspective of a character who is about to be, or has been, consumed by another character.

Prey POV should indicate the viewer's perspective is that of someone that is physically present within the scene:
  • The prey's hands, feet, or other parts of their body are visible in the first person view
  • The pred character is holding the viewer or physically interacting with them in some other way, the viewer's body may not be visible

Prey POV can also be applied to animations or sequences that do not visually indicate the prey's presence with body parts, but can be reasonably interpreted as showing the perspective of a character in the same physical space as the pred.

A single shot in an animation, sequence or comic, showing the perspective of a character that is also shown in third person also counts as prey POV.

What is not Prey POV:

Single shot vore scenes (posts that are not sequences, comics or animations) that don't show any evidence of the viewer being physically present in the scene should NOT be tagged as prey POV - e.g. an image showing the inside of a character's mouth, looking out, or images where a character is showing their gaping mouth to the viewer - even if the character is talking to the viewer and implying imminent vore - should not fall under this tag.

See pred pov for the opposite perspective...
