Species: planarian
Planaria, or planarians, are flatworms belonging to the order Tricladida, notable for their typically spade-shaped heads, "crosseyed" eyespots, eversible pharynges, complex brains; but, notably, their most studied feature is their extreme capacity to asexually reproduce and regenerate their entire bodies from almost a single cell. Most appear brown or spotted, though some cavedwelling planarians lack eyes altogether.
