Species: eeveelution
post #668353 post #509970 post #639936
Eeveelution (Japanese: イーブイズ EVs), is a term used to describe the many evolutions of the Pokémon Eevee. Originating as an unofficial term used by fans, it was first officially used in the context of a game in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. A less-common related term is Veevee (ブイブイ), used in English media beginning in Generation VII, and most prominently by the character Penny in Generation IX.
Due to Eevee having unstable genetic formations, Eevee has currently eight stages of evolutions/Eeveelutions. They are listed below:
- The Water type, Vaporeon, using a Water Stone.
- The Fire type, Flareon, using a Fire Stone.
- The Electric type, Jolteon, using a Thunder Stone.
- The Psychic type, Espeon, leveling up with high friendship during daytime.
- The Dark type, Umbreon, leveling up with high friendship at night.
- The Grass type, Leafeon, leveling up near the mossy stone, or in Sword and Shield, using a Leaf Stone.
- The Ice type, Glaceon, leveling up near the icy stone, or in Sword and Shield, using an Ice Stone.
- The Fairy type, Sylveon, gaining two affection hearts in Pokémon Amie (having high friendship in Generation VIII onward), learning a Fairy-type move, and leveling up.
