glup
Glup is an onomatopoeia used as a letter shifted term for swallowing, or as a general digestion noise.
Sound effect forms: "Glup", "Glhp", "Glp"
- "Glurp", "Glrp", and "Glop" tend to be treated as "Glorp" instead. It is not usually considered a reduced form in this context.
- "Glp" used in a swallowing context should be treated as a reduced variant of "Gulp".
- "Blup" is an uncommon "B-" version of the sound effect. Most digestive sounds have a "G-", and a "B-" form.
This only counts as an onomatopoeia if the sound effect isn't vowelless.
