Tiamat is a type of monster from Dungeons & Dragons. She is also one of the only monsters with unique lore and backstory in the larger part of the forgotten realms. She is the mother and queen of all evil chromatic dragons, with five heads for each of the different types of chromatic dragons (black, blue, green, red, white) she has mastery and resistance to the elements they represent, wyvern like wings, and a poisonous stinger on her tail. She is widely considered to be one of the most powerful and iconic characters in the whole series.

She is named after Tiamat, the Mesopotamian Primordial Goddess of Sea Water.
