M.X.E.S. is a virtual security system that appears in the Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach DLC expansion "Ruin". Appearing only when the player character, Cassie, wears the VR mask, it resembles a masculine dark purple ghost-like rabbit with an angular face and accented with black wires and light electronic lines all over its body. While unable to harm Cassie directly, staying in the VR world for too long will cause it to summon an animatronic in the real world to attack her. It was designed to keep the Mimic, a malevolent and violent animatronic, imprisoned underground.
