A panel, scene in an animation, or an entire image that depicts a close cropped shot of one or both of a character's hands. This is usually done to show a character performing an action with their hands, show a character holding an object, or showing their hand interacting with another's hand, or a part of another's body. A hand shot may also be drawn to show details of a character's hand, or items worn on the hand.
