A circle (quite often a pentagram) drawn on a surface for the purposes of a ritual or magic spell to conjure something. These often have candles placed on it and involve some type of offering, which can be a character or something else.

Unlike magic circle, this circle doesn't have to be effective or made out of magic material – just a plain drawing will do.
