Jaler is a supporting character in the NSFW RPG Grove. He is an older veteran drake mercenary and the leader of the Mercenary Trio consisting of himself, Rinnal the brawler, and Kuno the archer.

Jaler is a tall muscular anthropomorphic drake with red and white scales, turquoise eyes, and long rabbit-like ears. By default he wears similar plate mail to Grove, and wields an old scimitar.

Personality-wise Jaler is easily the most stoic, serious, and no-nonsense character in the game. His extensive career as a mercenary leaves him generally unphased by most of the bizarre and lewd things that he and his party encounter and he is capable of executing plans and actions with cold efficiency. That is not to say that he does not have any emotions or libido nor is he incapable of making mistakes and being overwhelmed. In a way, he can be seen as a model of whom Grove Aspires to be.
