Pizza Time Theatre Incorporated was founded in 1978 by Nolan Bushnell and Gene Landing, and owned the copyrights to the characters Chuck E. Cheese, Crusty The Cat, Jasper T. Jowls, Mr. Munch, Dolli Dimples, Helen Henny, Artie Antlers, Madame Oink, Foxy Collen, Sally Sashay, B. B. Bubbles, Pasqually P. Pieplate, The Singing Flowers, and The Warblettes. The Company existed from 1978 until 1984, when it was forced to file Chapter 11 for bankruptcy Protection, and was bought out and merged with Showbiz Pizza Place Incorporated.
