unseen prey
Unseen prey describes when the prey in a vore scenario is not directly visible. The prey will not be seen before they are consumed, nor depicted through an internal view in the image/animation.
The prey may only be implied by struggling bulges or imprints on the predator's bloated belly (or neck bulge while being swallowed, or balls, in the case of cock vore). The prey character may be indicated by emanata/iconography (e.g. a heart symbol or bar emanata) or by muffled words or speech bubbles coming from their location in the pred's body.
While often untagged, unseen_prey applies to a large amount of same size vore, and some cases of mass vore with extreme size differences between the predator and their prey.
Notes
- Dialogue or a body outline/imprint can be used to determine the prey's gender or form, which should be tagged alongside unknown_prey
- e.g. a face imprint with a canine snout, paired with humanoid hand imprints, and breast imprints can safely be tagged as female_prey anthro_prey even if the character isn't directly seen
- The size of the character's belly, or the body outline can also be used to tag size tags (e.g. larger pred and smaller prey)
Unseen Prey Vs. Ambiguous Prey
- Ambiguous prey can be used when a prey character is fully visible, but their sex cannot be determined visually
- Unseen prey can apply if the prey character isn't visible and in cases where their sex and/or form is evident from imprints or dialogue
Unseen Prey Vs. Prey POV
- Unseen prey should not be tagged in first person view vore posts, unless an external view of the predator, showing the destination of the prey (e.g. belly, balls) is shown after the viewer is ingested
