Bucky Beaver is a beaver who debuted in the analog horror series Broadside Beach, as the mascot of entertainment industry titan Broadside Animation. Later, though, he would make a name for himself as the protagonist of the horror game that spun off from it, Shipwrecked 64.
He's a friendly fellow who immediately trusts the player to help him rescue his friends from the island that they were marooned on. But as his desires are ignored by the player in favor of uncovering more disturbing secrets about the game and his creators - including footage that depicts somebody wearing a mascot costume of himself committing heinous acts - his goodwill and sanity are put to the test.
